SOME IMPORTANT INFO:

1) The name of the game is potential not perfection.   However, you are being provided the opportunity to learn at your own pace and basically a full month in which to practice and learn.  This is NOT how a live tryout would go.  So  your memory of the routines should be top notch :)

2) The dancer who is demonstrating the dance routine is a male with limited flexibility.  You should push your kicks and leaps to a more full and extended level if possible.  (kicks to face, leaps with legs parallel to floor, etc)

3) You should do your best to learn and perform the dance routine exactly as it is taught.  If you are unable to execute some of the more advanced skills (jumps/leaps/A-turns) then  you are free to change that choreography to something that is appropriate for you.  However, please realize that this will impact your tryout score.  It is possible to make the team and adjust the choreography to be less challenging, but it is not advisable.  PUSH YOURSELF!!!

4) Begin by learning the dance routine...then move onto the kick routine.  Skills should be practiced every, single day, and stretching every day is a MUST!  Skills and flexibility are very important, and can make or break  your audition score.  So do not overlook these!!!
