SOME GOOD ADVICE!

Wear your event lanyards with your park hopper inside pretty much everywhere.  You CANNOT get into the competition without your Disney pass/lanyard.

Don't over pack! Remember that whatever you bring, you have to CARRY to and from the room, as well as getting it home...not to mention that you will have EXTRA stuff when you go home!

Don't plan on buying "basics" in Florida (sun tan lotion,  etc...EVERYTHING costs twice as much!)

Do make sure all your Troyette stuff and any other important items are labeled. It's easy to mix things up and lose things in the VERY MESSY rooms!

Do return things that you borrow!

Do buy an "All Star" mug....They're pricey (I think like $25) but you can get unlimited soda/coffee/etc!  So they are well worth the price!

Don't spend hours on your cell-phone talking to everybody in GB. This is a trip with your team... You're missing "the experience" and not being in the moment! :)

Do get to know some people better...don't constantly hang around with the same people you always hang around with.

Do sleep in the room that you are assigned. No matter what!  This is not an option

Do keep track of your money and your park passes/meal tickets/room keys! Take a picture of your park pass info (back side) and text it to Shawna ASAP.

Do keep in touch with your parents, and let them know that you have arrived safely!

Don't just disappear...and don't be late for scheduled practices and meeting times. This makes Shawna NUTS! And then I will be crabby and hold you personally responsible for ruining my good mood!

If you have "taken charge" of  Cam you are responsible for returning him safely to Shawna...do not turn over your responsibility to someone else unless approved by Shawna!  We CANNOT lose my child in Florida!

Don't cause drama ...We need to be following the golden rule the entire time we are in Florida. If we do that, everyone will be and stay happy.  It's that simple :) The goal is a HAPPY, FUN, BEST-EVER TRIP with a bunch of LOVING GIRLS.

Do make sure everybody is INCLUDED...don't be exclusive and cliquey.  On the other side, don't wait to be included.  Jump in with whatever group is going where you want to go/doing what you want to do.

You may not be alone at any time, for any reason.  You may not stay back at the hotel alone...you always need a buddy.

Do get your sleep! Take naps! Sleep deprivations causes crabbiness...which causes drama...which causes crabbiness...which causes drama....Get it?

Do be nice! If you feel yourself getting crabby, go do something fun...and look around and realize you're in Florida...Don't take it for granted!

Do get your room organized the night before competition....There is nothing more stressful than trying to get ready for our very important day in a room that is a giant disaster zone!

Do make sure your room is clean before you check-out...trash in the trash can, drawers cleaned out, everything in its "original" state. You MUST check your room out with Shawna (each roommate present) before you disappear for the day.

Do remember that EVERYTHING you do is a reflection on the Troyettes. Do what is right and don't push the limits. You are expected to behave like young ladies, not boy-crazy, delinquent children. This trip and the freedom you are given is a GIFT...don't do something that causes you to lose it!
