IMPORTANT INFO:

**We will be learning a football pom and football jazz routine.  They are shorter and less intricate than routines we've done in the past, but this will allow us to spend our time/energy & focus on getting ready for Competition season.  This will also leave us with more time to do team- building activities and lots and lots of technique.  The plan is to leave camp with routines that are completely lined up and ready to go except for critiquing.

**Click HERE for a preview of pom  (password: bebold7) ( intermdiate pom)
*Click HERE for a preview of jazz

**It is important that you are at every day of camp, all day, incuding "fun day"...and at each evening activity (unless pre-excused).  EVERYTHING is mandatory because this is how we get to know each other and start becoming a TEAM!

**You should consider the theme/dress up days mandatory. Have fun with them! Interpret them creatively!  You will arrive in theme clothes but change into designated dance clothes for warm-ups and learning choreography.  PLEASE WEAR THE CORRECT CLOTHES!

**You will find our your Team Sister on Monday

**Decorated sweat towels will be exchanged on Tuesday. Please MAKE SURE that you bring these, as we go around in a circle and show them off. It’s very sad when someone doesn’t get one...and certainly does not display a selfless, "we before me" focus. Take some time to put some personal, heartfelt work into showing your big/little sis just how much you care!!!!

**Early is on time!!! It is important that you are on time. This shows respect to Sara, your coach and your teammates. Returning members should coordinate with non driving members to arrange rides ASAP.

**This is our week to lay the foundations for our year. We need to work hard, play hard, get to know each other and be positive at all times. We need to set the tone for how our practice are going to run, how we work with each other, and how focused we are on improving as individuals and dancing as a team! This is TROYETTE week...all day and all evening. Let your family and friends know that this week is dedicated to US!  Go Troyettes!!!!!

**Come with a positive, uplifting attitude and let’s make it our goal to have an amazing week. This is a great time for bonding and growing as a team and as individual dancers...This experience will be exactly what you make of it!

**We need to talk OUT LOUD and positively to each other during warmups/technique/ and learning choreography (when appropriate). Be involved in your teammates growth, development and excitement!

**The rule for all circle and break times is to make sure that you are sitting next to somebody new or that you wouldn't normally sit by. Do not sit by the same people all the time...Step out of your comfort zone and get to know somebody better!

**TEAM NICE is in effect! TEAM RESPECT is in effect! TEAM 110% is in effect...for the whole week and forever.

**Returning girls, and specifically upperclassmen...it is your responsibility to make EVERYONE feel included. This includes camp time, lunch time and team bonding events. It is your responsibility to be fun, excited, uplifting and to spread the Troyette love. It is your responsibility to demonstrate how we work hard and how we play hard. The 2020 seniors are gone and after a year off, the new group needs to start stepping up and putting their own personal stamp on this year! How exciting!!!!

**You are expected to represent yourselves, your coach and our team in a respectful and mature manner at all times...at camp, at lunch and at evening activities. Please be quiet and attentive while learning, an do not ask for breaks.

**Be sure to eat a healthy breakfast and lunch EVERY day...you can’t make your car go if there’s no gas in it :)

**If you are receiving a ride...you should pay gas money.  Please see the team handbook for monetary guides. This is TEAM NICE and TEAM RESPECT in action!!!!

**Shoes must be worn during all class times and all times that camp is “in session” unless Sara has specified otherwise.

**Go FULL OUT rather than walking through choreography at all times...Sara will let you know if you can mark it...otherwise, dance it full!  This is how it works its way onto your body and into your mind.

**No swearing or gum chewing. Be aware of your body language at all times.

**Be coachable and teachable.  Think about what you are giving as much as what you are receiving.
